Verkhnaya Salda, January 17, 2022 — In 2021 VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation implemented COVID-19 protection and prevention activities to cover its employees. RUB 90 mln were spend for this purpose. This amount included expenses for ensuring safe labour conditions, medical treatment and rehabilitation of the employees experienced the illness, a number of activities within the Vaccination program, etc. In particular, RUB 23 mln were spent for personal protective equipment, RUB 6 mln — for facilities disinfection, RUB 20 mln — for COVID-19 testing, RUB 41 mln — for medication required for employees’ treatment.
During 2021 period, VSMPO-AVISMA has implemented a number of activities within the Vaccination encouraging program. Multiple permanent and mobile vaccination centers were arranged within the Company — for the employees, and outside the Company — for all town residents. Each and every vaccinated employee was provided a certain number of paid off-days.
The Company carried out a large-scale awareness campaign with the use of corporate tools and media, outdoor advertisements posted within the territory of Verkhnaya Salda, distribution of print media to postboxes of the town residents; and arranged a number of meetings with doctors and influencers. The Council of Company’s veterans made active efforts towards interaction with Verkhnaya Salda retired persons. Thus, during summer time, mobile vaccination centers worked at collective gardening and farming areas, as well as at the public places popular with elderly people. A new encouraging initiative for veterans has been planned for the 2022 — delivery of vitamin complexes to all vaccinated persons. For
